The blue lotus is a sacred plant bearing significant spiritual symbolism and has been used in ritual and medicine for thousands of years. In Ancient Egypt the blue lotus symbolised the ‘origin of life’ and was also associated with rebirth. It was thought that the flowers ability to emerge from the mud through the murky depths of water and spread its petals to the sun was a metaphor for ‘life emerging from the shadows into the light’.

Cacao is essentially chocolate in it's rawest form (without all the nasties) and it has been used for thousands of years.
